Hi, I’m Ana.

I work with people who are tired of holding everything together, but still feel stuck in the same patterns. Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable, and self-aware, yet find themselves overwhelmed by anxiety, perfectionism, relationship struggles, or a feeling that something is missing.

How I Work

Therapy with me is not just a place to vent, get reassurance, and move on. We can laugh and talk about your week, but we are also going to pay attention to the patterns underneath it.

I will slow you down. I may interrupt. I will notice when you move past something important or start explaining instead of feeling.

I am not the kind of therapist who simply nods along and sends you home with reassurance. I believe support and challenge are meant to exist together.

A lot of people come in thinking nothing bad enough happened to explain why they feel the way they do. We gently challenge that. You do not need a dramatic story for your pain to be real.

What I Bring to Therapy

I do deep, relational work. The kind that takes time, honesty, and a willingness to be uncomfortable.

I am not focused on quick fixes. I pay attention to the patterns that keep showing up in your life. How you relate to yourself. How you show up in relationships. What happens when things feel uncertain or overwhelming.

I am comfortable with anger, with stuckness, and with the moments where nothing is neatly resolving.

I do not over-pathologize. I see you as a capable person whose patterns make sense, and who is also responsible for changing them.

Over time, clients often notice they move through their day with more ease, understand their emotions more clearly, tolerate discomfort without shutting down, communicate needs more directly, and feel more aligned with how they are living.

Why I Do This Work

My own work around perfectionism, risk, and trusting myself shapes how I show up with clients. I know what it is like to question your own capability and hold back because failing feels too exposing.

Working With Couples

Most couples come in stuck in the same argument, trying to figure out who is right.

I am not interested in deciding that.

When one person is right, the relationship usually loses.

Instead, we look at what is happening underneath the conflict. What the dishes, the silence, or the tone of voice actually represent. What each of you is protecting, needing, or reacting to.

We are not just solving the argument. We are changing the pattern that keeps recreating it.

A Quick Reality Check

I may not be the best fit if you are looking for therapy that is only a place to vent and receive reassurance without exploring what needs to change.

I am a good fit if you are open to being challenged, curious about yourself, and willing to look honestly at the patterns that are not working, even when that feels uncomfortable.

Clients sometimes joke that I will call them out, but in a way that feels accurate, useful, and sometimes even a little funny.
